CHAPTER 30
Karim in his soda
shop
Karim was selling soda in his soda shop in the
market. Above his shop, there was a room in which terrorist Afzal was conducting
a meeting with 10-12 of his followers.
Afzal looked around at all the men and said seriously, “The IB already
knows that I have come. Not only that, the task force is doing a survey to
catch me. My plan must be in action as soon as possible. In a single day, 10
bomb blasts should take place. Hundreds of people should die. And then the High
Court blast. The whole world should come to know what is jihad.”
Seriously, doing salam with his hand, Akram said, “Ji hujur. The sleepers
are ready. 10 people are ready to become human bombs. Not only that, now women
are also ready to give their lives for jihad.”
Nodding with excitement, Afzal said, “Very good. Allah likes people who
give their lives for jihad.”
Akram pointed to a 20 years old boy. “Sir, this is the boy I told you
about. His name is Jamir.”
Afzal looked at the boy and nodded smiling.
Akram said happily, “He has come forward to become a human bomb and give
his life for jihad.”
Afzal smiled at the boy and asked him to come near. Jamir went and sat
down near Afzal. Afzal patted the boy’s head and said, “Small age but big sacrifice.”
Akram pointed to Jamir and said, “But he is a very poor boy from a poor
family. He is the only son of an ordinary mauli. If we give some money, father
will not suffer so much when his son dies.”
Nodding, Afzal said, “Such. Allah ki kasam.”
Afzal immediately took one lakh rupees from a suitcase. Jamir put his
towel down in front of Afzal. Afzal put the money down on the towel. Jamir got
excited looking at the money. Afzal covered the money with the towel and handed
it to the boy. “Give this to your father.”
Jamir was very happy to get so much money. He clutched the towel with
money to his chest happily and smiled. “Thank
your very much, sir.”
Afzal looked at the boy and patted him. “You are ready to give your life
for jihad. This money is not bigger than that.”
Jamir got up with a smile.
Looking at the boy, Akram said seriously, “Keep this a secret. Tell only
what I have told you to tell.”
