The marriage date is fixed

In the morning, Suprabata song can be heard in the temple. Swami did mangala arati for god and brought it in front of Rana, Reshmi and Siddartha. Then swami sat down with the panchanga in front. Everyone sat down in front of him.

Looking at the panchanga, Swami said, “The auspicious time is at 5:30 am on the 30ht of next month. It comes only once in every 10 years. You can get married at that time. That time will be lucky for you.”

With responsibility, Rana said, “Swami, please fix the marriage of these two for that auspicious time.”

Smiling, nodding looking at Siddartha and Reshmi, Swami said, “Ok. I will write the marriage letter and give it to you tomorrow. Where will you conduct the marriage?”

Rana said, “We have decided to have the marriage in the function hall of your temple because both the boy and the girl do not have parents. I will be conducting the marriage.”

Swami looked at Siddartha and Reshmi with surprise and sadness.

“So sad. Both are orphans. By god’s grace you are there for them. They are lucky to have you.”

Rana, Reshmi and Siddartha thanked the swami and left.          

Looking at Rana, Siddartha said, “Let us keep the marriage simple. Around 100 guests will come. I will print around 150 invitation cards.”

Rana smiled. “But the invitation card must be very special. Make the card in my name and put both of your photos on it as you are made for each other.”

Siddartha smiled. “As you wish, sir. You are elder for both of us.” 

Rana patted their backs happily.
