Ranjith consoles daughter

Ranjit came into the hall in the morning ready to go out. Seeing his daughter, he felt bad. He sat down near her and said, “You have stopped going for jogging in the morning.”

Sadly, Amrita said, “For some reason, I feel bored to do anything now a days, daddy.”

Ranjit looked at her face with understanding. “I know why you are like this, my dear.”

Amrita looked at her father’s face. He caressed her head with love.                           “I have understood your mind very well. Let us go to one place in the evening. I will come home at 5 pm. Be ready.”

Hopelessly, with pain, Amrita asked, “Where, daddy?”

Going near the door and then turning to look at her from there,               coolly, Ranjit said, “Where I lost due to my rashness, there I will go and search. God is there.”

He looked at god’s photo. Then he went out. Amrita sat looking at the front door sadly.

In the afternoon Ranjit called Rana to fix an appointment.          

Ranjit said to Rana on phone, “We are coming to meet you in the evening at 5:30pm. Will you be free?”

Rana was very happy. He said on phone, “It would be my pleasure to have you here, sir. Please do come.”
