Ranjit puts country over daughter

Ranjit was giving current to Afzal on the current chair.              Seriously and angrily, Ranjit said, “Spit out everything. The history of each and every one of your men should come out.”

Afzal looked at Ranjit seriously. Ranjit gave current shock. Afzal shouted loudly and put his head down.  Suddenly, Ranjit’s cell rang.

In the old house on top of the hill, terrorists were standing all around Amrita. One man had pointed a gun at her head.

              

One man held a mobile to Amrita’s mouth.

Amrita cried, “Daddy, I have been kidnapped. I am being tortured to death.”

Ranjit was shocked. “What are you saying? Where are you?”

In the old house, Pheroz took the mobile and said seriously, “Your daughter has been kidnapped. If you torture Afzal there, we will torture your daughter here similarly. Two strokes for one stroke.”

He slapped Amrita. Then he put the cell to her mouth. Amrita shouted loudly with pain and fear.

Ranjit was shocked. “Amrita”

He heard Pheroz laughing.

Shocked, Ranjit said, “Bastards. If anything happens to my daughter, I will burn you alive.”  

In the old house, Pheroz laughed loudly. “Mister Commando, just release Afzal in the evening at 6pm. Otherwise, we will parcel your daughter’s dead body to you. Watch the TV. Our demands will be announced soon as breaking news.”

In the torture room, Ranjit put his hand on his head in shock. He stood still in shock. Suddenly one assistant came in.

In tension, assistant said, “Sir, your daughter has been kidnapped. It has been announced on TV.”

Hearing this, the tired Afzal raised his head suddenly with new spirit. Happily, laughing crookedly looking at commando, Afzal said, “Eh badmash saitan commando, till now you were giving me current shock. Now how is my shock?”

Ranjit hit Afzal. He fell down. Blood oozed from his mouth.                                  “I will drink your blood. Bastards, butchers.”

Ranjit tried to contact Amrita by phone. It was switched off.                     Ranjit thought, “Bastards. They have switched off the cell. These jihadi men are not human. They kidnap ladies for jihad.” 

Suddenly his phone rang. It was the HM.

HM was talking on phone in his office. He was sitting in front of other officers. HM said to Ranjit on phone with tension, “Sorry to inform you. Your daughter has been kidnapped. Please come immediately.”

In the torture room, hearing HM’s voice, Ranjit got up to go.

In the old house on top of the hill, Amrita was tied up to a post. Pheroz was looking at her, and talking on the phone. Other men were standing around with guns.

Pheroz said to Amrita, “Your release means Afzal’s release.”

Four men were guarding outside the hut with guns in their hands.

Ranjit has meeting with HM

HM, intelligence officers were having a meeting. There was pin drop silence. Announcement was going on in TV. All were shocked. Even police IG was there.

Looking at everyone, HM asked, “What shall we do next? How can we rescue that girl?”

Intelligence officer said, “Sir, their phone call came from this area. They are probably within 40 to 50 km limit.”

Seriously, IG said, “We have alerted police in all important points.”

Ranjit said seriously, “I will make that badmash Afzal reveal the spot.”

He got up.
