Amrita joins academy

Ranjit’s car entered the academy gates. Security saluted and followed the car. He opened the car door. Commando Ranjit got down with Amrita.

Rana saw them from his office window and got up immediately. He went out to welcome Ranjit. Giving hand shake, Rana said, “Welcome to our academy.”

Pointing to Amrita, Ranjit said, “This is Amrita, my only daughter.”

Smiling, Rana said, “Hallo, nice to meet you.”

Amrita smiled and thanked him.

Rana took them inside the academy. They all entered Rana’s office.

Ranjit and Amrita sat in front of Rana.

Rana said happily, “I am so happy that you have come to my academy.”

Ranjit pointed to his daughter and said, “My daughter has just completed her MCA and is now free. Attending the function yesterday has inspired her to learn shooting. That’s why I brought her here.”

Rana was surprised and happy. “Very good. I am so happy that you have decided to learn shooting.”

Rana took up the phone and called his secretary. “Ask Siddartha to come in for a minute.”

Amrita felt excited on hearing the name of her hero. Her body shivered.

Rana looked at her and said, “I will ask champion Siddartha himself to teach you.”

Siddartha was teaching theory to students in a class room. Secretary entered the room and asked told Siddartha gave him Rana’s message. Siddartha immediately took leave and went out.

At the office, Amrita was waiting with excitement for Siddartha to arrive. She kept looking at the door.

Siddartha entered the room. Amrita stared at him dissolving in him romantically.             

Looking at him, Rana said, “Come Siddartha, sit down.”

Siddartha saluted to Ranjit and said, “Good morning sir.”

Ranjit shook hands with Siddartha.

Smiling, Ranjit said, “Very good morning.”

Siddartha sat down near Amrita.

Looking at Siddartha proudly, Rana said, “In my 5 years of service in this academy, I have seen so many students, but Siddartha is very special.”

Hearing this, Amrita was excited. She looked at Siddartha with great admiration. Ranjit nodded. Siddartha remained cool.

Amrita thought, “Yes. He is very special for me too.”

Looking at Siddartha and then at Ranjit, Rana said, “When Siddartha joined our academy three years ago, he said that he wanted to be a champion and within months he became state champion. He has kept his position this year too. Not only that, he sands no.4 in All India level. Unfortunately, he is not able to get sponsors to go for international competitions. What to do.”

Ranjit looked happily at Siddartha and then at Rana. “Mr. Rana, please get Siddartha to give training to my daughter.”

Rana nodded and said to Siddartha, “Siddartha, from tomorrow, you should start coaching Amrita.”

Siddartha nodded and looked at Amrita in her eyes. She too looked into his eyes romantically.

Amrita thought, “From tomorrow when you give me training, I will go to sleep with my head on your chest. You only have to place the point and you only have to press the trigger.”

Rana asked Amrita, “Will you come from tomorrow, dear?”

Coming out of her dreams, a bit shocked Amrita looked at Rana happily. “Sure sir.”

Rana and Siddartha took Ranjit and Amrita around the academy and showed them everything. Ranjit observed everything with interest. But Amrita kept her eyes on Siddartha only. Siddartha noticed this but remained cool. He was used to such attention since he was a shooting champion and also he was very handsome.
